So I don’t get enough sleep. I know I should. I know it helps with brain activity. I know it helps with weight loss. But with 4 kids, full time job, podcast, music, the wife’s activities, etc., sleep is the first thing to be squeezed out. I need to change my tune; here’s a quote from the article linked to below:
The federal government’s National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey indicated that people who got less than four hours of sleep a night were 73 percent more likely to be obese than those who got the recommended seven to nine hours of rest. People averaging five hours of sleep had a 50 percent greater risk, and those with six hours of sleep had 23 percent more. What’s the reason for these findings?
