Water Therapy
It seems like I’m constantly looking up new and interesting stories for the podcast. Some of the things that I find are somewhat “fringe” and some others are so simple they’re not really news worthy. This one goes in both camps I reckon. Water therapy is simply the act of drinking 1 to 1 1/2 liters of water upon waking and then not eating for 45 minutes to 1 hour. There is a laundry list of things that water therapy can cure. Here are just a few of the best from the list:
- Head Ache
- Rheumatism (Pain in joints/muscles)
- Obesity (Fatness)
- Arthritis
- Sinusitis
- Giddiness
- Cough
- Asthma
- Bronchitis
- Hyper acidity
- Constipation
Okay, so number 1, I didn’t know giddiness was an affliction that needed getting rid of. And B, the whole reason that this post is showing up here is the inclusion of obesity on the list of things that are cured by water therapy.
There is one possible side effect: death. You’ll probably remember the morning radio hosts that had people drink water to win a Wii and one of the contestants died from water intoxication. Tread safely into water therapy, if you dare, and check out the articles below for more information before you start.
I’ve tried this for the last few days and I can vouch for one thing, you will not be constipated.
