The most important factor that, in a case of a woman, should have is she knows how to feel beautiful not just being beautiful or looking beautiful. Feeling beautiful has something to do with subconscious where in spite of not so good physical attributes this will strengthen your self-esteem and gives you confidence in everything you do.

Gymticket.com practices bad business. They try to give the image of an unbiased listing service, but not all healthclubs are listed because gyms have to pay to play. If they don't have a gym in your area (no gyms want to pay to be listed), then they'll still squeeze users for their info. so they can sell it to real spammers. Hopefully more consumers will wise up, and this awful service will go away.

My GymTicket.com review: They'll sell user information to gyms or to spammers -- they don't care. They just want their money in exchange for your information.

James >>Just a different definition of spam then. I consider the crap I get in my inbox for things like viagra, mortgages, stuff I never asked for or gave my e-mail address for spam. There are lots of services out there that will automatically stick you on a mailing list and tell you so in the privacy policy.

Whose fault is it for not reading it?

I make my choice to not sign up for things all the time based on the privacy policy. They're not always as clear and upfront as GymTicket.

Did you get whay you wanted out of the service? Did you try out a gym for free? Did you join a gym?

Yeah, GymTicket.com will spam you if you give your email to them. You shouldn't have to opt out of spam and read a lengthy privacy policy...bottom line is that no one should be spamming anyone in the first place.

Please read the privacy policy before you enter your e-mail address in the form for the free guest passes. The Gym Ticket service will use your e-mail address to send you offers from itself and their partners. You may very well consider this SPAM, but it is clearly spelled out in the privacy policy how to opt-out. I don't like that myself, but that's a part of their service. Use a junk e-mail address service if you're unsure of giving them your real e-mail address. Here are a couple that I've used:

Well Russ, I must admit this is one heck of a helpful video. I bought one of these balls about two months ago, used it once. I think I'll dust it off and see if Ema and I can watch this video together to get some workout ideas.

Thanks bud!

I won't argue with diabetics having a hard time. But I will point out that you don't need diet coke, nobody needs diet coke, and everyone would be better off not drinking any type of soda, regardless of sugar content.

You are still quite heavy my friend. Go on a diet and lose another 25 pounds or so. I weigh 110kg and am 194 cm tall. My penis is smaller than average and can still see it easily.

Honestly, 1 can is too much, 2 cans is a definite road to trouble. I'm a certified health counselor; I wouldn't touch anything with aspartame in it! There are a number of books and a few documentary films that expose aspartame, splenda, and the other chemical sweeteners. Sweet Misery and Sweet Remedy are both great DVD's. If you look around online, you may even find them for free on google video or something.

I guess I didn't answer your question. I don't know how much is too much. I know I definitely see a slowing if not complete stoppage of weight loss when I add Diet Coke back into my diet. That's enough evidence right there.

Hey Ness,

I was up to about 100 oz. a day at my worst. So you're up to 84 oz. a day already, 588 oz. a week, 2352 oz. a month, 28K oz. a year. That's at 7 cans a day.

The thing is if drinking the diet soda in lieu of water, then the caffeine robs your body of fluids, the aspartame, as I discussed in the show, does nothing good for your body. One or two a day may not sound bad, but over a lifetime that's a hell of a lot of formaldehyde running around your blood. I'd just rather not.

Plus the fact that the diet soda doesn't have the calories of sugar, doesn't mean it helps you lose weight. In fact it's the opposite according to the articles that I've read.

Thanks for the comment,
Russ

How much of this stuff does it take to actually cause problems? I drink no more than 6 or 7 a day and usually not that much. I usually drink at least one or two a day, though.

Thinking about this some more, if the exposure to benzene has a cumulutave effect, and from what I've read online it does, then each and every little bit of exposure to it, be gasoline or orange drink, is killing me. I should limit my exposure as much as possible. Also I work quite frequently in petrochemical refineries, so I should quit my job too. Now I'm PANICED!!!!

Obviously I need to spend more time on this subject.

Jules, what the hell are you doing inhaling gas fumes at the pump? Get on your cell phone and make a call instead of inhaling fumes.

You inhale about as much benzene in the three minutes you spend pumping gas at the gas station than you would consume by drinking twelve ounces of the most benzene-rich soft drink ever found.

In other words, EVERYBODY PANIC!!!!!

Thanks for caring. Otherwise I’m making myself a guinea pig and trying out the Reverse Diet. So far it’s working well. Listen in to hear what happened. I’m also looking for a good source of resveratrol. The GNC near me was out. News, Fat Guy Moment, and a Weigh-in this week. [...]

If you think you would benefit from broadcasting your show in a directory I have a personal development podcast directory that you would fit right into. I really welcome you adding your xml feed. You can also add links back to your blog and images.
If it's something you think is worth doing here's the link <a href="http://www.personalgrowthpodcastdirectory.com" rel="nofollow"> http://www.personalgrowthpodcastdirectory.com </a>

I am working hard at making this an inspirational resource and I think your podcasts would add to that. Plus I will be sending out press releases in the next few weeks so added exposure for us both.

Hope to see you there
Best wishes

Yeah, the funny thing is that with that 4-ish pounds added back on, the clothes still fit the same. But I did get a little down on myself for making the choice to not diet on vacation when it was the harder thing to do.

But you're right, the weight loss has turned back into just that, LOSS.

What They're Saying about The Reverse Diet:

"The Reverse Diet is a smart and effective way to lose weight—and keep it off."
—Lisa Callahan, M.D., author of The Fitness Factor

"A simple, smart concept that will help people rethink the way they eat."
—Matt Bean, Senior Editor, Men's Health magazine

"The Reverse Diet program has given me tools that have been very easy to follow. I started the program at 240 pounds. Fourteen months later I have lost 87 pounds. I look and feel fabulous!
—Anna L.

"I lost 8 pounds my first week on The Reverse Diet and I have never looked back. I have now lost 55 pounds and have kept the weight off for 4 months. I feel better than I ever have, and I look great."
—Antoinette B.

"The best part is, I want to continue the Reverse Diet program, which has never been the case with any diet I have tried in the past. Thank you!"
—Angela B.

The Reverse Diet is the breakthrough new diet plan that has people all across North America eating better, losing weight, and getting healthier. Now you can stop counting calories, avoiding carbs, and feeling deprived. For most of us who struggle with weight loss, dinner is often the largest meal of the day. By eating dinner foods for breakfast and breakfast foods for dinner, eating fewer processed foods, and retuning your hunger cues, you'll watch the pounds disappear! Tricia Cunningham—who lost more than 150 pounds on the Reverse Diet—and nutritionist Heidi Skolnik show you how eating a larger meal in the morning and a smaller meal at night improves your metabolism and body composition while promoting better health. Combining dozens of delicious recipes, several weeks of meal plans, and plenty of motivational tips and support, The Reverse Diet is the easy-to-follow, remarkably effective solution for eating the right foods at the right time—and losing the weight for life!
As seen on The Today Show, Good Morning America, Extra, The Discovery Health Channel. Featured in People, Time, Fitness, First for Women, and Woman’s World.

Hey Mark,

Thanks for the comment. I weighed in at 265.6, I didn't get the fat or water percentages. I'm human and I'm self conscious of my failures. It's not easy to stand there and announce the weight, especially when I've gone up but...

I'll definitely post that info in the future.

Thank,
Russ

That article about hungry chicks liking overweight guys is outstanding. So the key is to stop feeding your girlfriend and she'll love ya forever. ;)

Who needs exercise equipment? Find a couple of activities that you like doing and stick with them! I bought a bike and ride it 3 to 4 times a week. I also found and really enjoy playing Disc Golf. There is a lot of walking in the sport. Good luck! I am enjoying the show!

I read a similar article at one point and it made a lot of sense to me. If you're rewarded for eating and you over-eat the body protects its ability to give you those rewards by destroying the receptors so you get less "reward" from the activity.

Very cool stuff!

That was hilarious Russell. A triumph. Looks like you'll be having water with me in the mornings-should be interesting. And I would totally do the shoehorn thing. See you Monday. -Garrett
